The startups take over Helsinki

Slush, the biggest startup in Northern Europe is approaching fast. And the startup community is on fire. Around Slush countless events take place all around the city. And to most of them you don't need a Slush pass.

If you always wanted to dive a bit deeper into the startup scene this is your chance. During the weekend you can attend several hackathons in Helsinki where developers, developers, hardware specialists and companies come together to code, hack, network and have fun.

Slush 2014

The biggest startup event in Northern Europe starts again today. Over 12.000 visitors from around the world come to Slush at Messukeskus Helsinki to see what's on in the Nordic startup scene.

Tickets to sold out already and anyway way too expensive for private visitors. But you can still get an idea of Slush. Tonight Apollo hosts the Slush Grand Opening Party. And it is open to everyone. So check it out and meet entrepreneurs, investors, journalists and the organizers.

The party starts tonight at 21.00. Slush continues until Wednesday.

SLUSH 2013

Every year start-ups from Finland, the Nordics and whole Europe meet in Helsinki for the two day SLUSH event.

This year’s event is as big as never before and starts today at Kaapelitehdas. On five stages pitches, interviews, discussions and presentations will be held from morning till late afternoon. The program can be seen online.

Unfortunately tickets are already sold out. But if you are interested in following some of the program don’t worry. You can follow the whole event online via live stream.
