No need for an own car in 2025

Helsinki is already an excellent city to get around in by public transport, bike or even on foot. But the city's ambitions are bigger than that. The long term plan is to make privately owned cars completely obsolete.

And that vision is not too far in the future. Already 2025 this should be reality. For more information on those plans check out the article on Fastcoexist.

  1. If you have an older car that may be a classic or an antique automobile, you may not have thought about the need for special car insurance. This is particularly important if you are thinking about buying this type of car. First of all, you need to be sure that it meets the definition of a classic or antique car.

  2. If public transport can give the best service it would be great to us and we will depend on it once again. Private transport can cause traffic problems this is why we should use public transportation more as we get a huge benefit out of it. Thank you so much.
